Mob Science, a rapidly growing and profitable social gaming company, has an immediate opening for a flash game developer. We are building fun games that are played by millions of people a month and most of our games also support a philanthropic cause. Not only do you get to make fun, but help people too!
This is a full-time position, but we are open to having you work from wherever you want. You will be cooperating with our engineers who are based in Poland. We offer a competitive salary and the potential for additional upside through equity ownership.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of solid software development experience
- Expertise in Flash Development: Actionscript 3.0 , CPU/Memory optimization, PHP/Flash bridging, Cross-browser compatibility
- Extensive design and game development experience
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Strong analytical skills and ability to assist other team members in problem solving
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
- Build great Flash-based games.
- Enjoy working hard, long hours with demanding deadlines.
- Experience building XML sockets in flash to build multi-user games or applications would be ideal!
